Week One: Let’s Learn About Utah’s Archaeology!

Thank you taking the Pledge to Protect the Past! Welcome to the first resource page designed to get you up to speed on Utah archaeology – fast. And there’s a lot to explore: from the first people on the continent to historic pioneers, Utah has been home to people for over 13,000 years!

We want you to know about the past not just because it’s awesome (though it is!) but because the more you know about Utah’s archaeology, the more motivated you will be to protect it. From all of us at the Utah Public Archaeology Network, thank you for all you do to protect the past.
