Fort Douglas Founders Day

On October 26, 1862, Colonel Patrick E. Connor established Camp Douglas (later Fort Douglas) outside Salt Lake City. Join the Fort Douglas Museum, the University of Utah, and the Utah State Historic Preservation Office as we celebrate 162 years of military history!

The day’s program is below. Please note that some events will require prior registration, space is limited for these events so register early!

920am-935: Overview of Fort Douglas History & Founder’s Day
935am-950am: Speaker TBD, Northwestern Band of Shoshone
950am-1000am: Concluding Remarks
