Excavation at Fort Douglas

Stop by Stilwell Field (across from the Fort Douglas Military Museum) and see archaeologists in action! Archaeologists from the Utah State Historic Preservation Office will be digging to explore the historic Ordinance Storage associated with the early days of Camp Douglas.

Dr. Chris Merritt and other archaeologists will be available to answer your questions and show you around the excavation site.
