The Hill Air Force Base and Utah National Guard cultural resource programs have partnered with the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation to highlight the connections living cultures have with their past. You’ll have the opportunity to experience prehistoric history intermixing with modern tribal culture. Join us for an afternoon including a cattail doll activity, Paleoindian artifact replicas, archaeology trivia, and a chance to speak to military archaeologists on how they manage such unique resources. This event and entry to the Hill Aerospace Museum are free!
A special thank you to Ms. Christina Martinez from the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation who will be leading us in the Cattail Doll demonstration and activity.
