Please join State Historic Preservation (SHPO) Staff and community partners in Vernal on October 18th, 830am to 3pm (agenda below). In effort to grow awareness of our various programming and also hear directly from the community, the SHPO is inaugurating a rotating regional hub, where we bring various staff members to share brief introductions to commonly-used programs and how the community can get involved..
830am: Welcome Vernal City
900-930am: What is the State Historic Preservation Office
930-10am: National Register of Historic Places (What it is, isn’t, and why its important)
10-1030am: Tax Credits (Federal & State) for Historic Rehabilitation
1030-11am: Utah Cultural Site Stewardship Program
11-12pm: Main Street/Certified Local Governments
