Historic Window Workshop

Join us for a three-day hands-on workshop focused on traditional wood window restoration techniques at historic Fort Douglas. Led by specialist Caitlyn Barhorst of Restoration West, this hands-on course covers key preservation practices to repair and restore historic windows.
Gain hands-on skills to restore and preserve historic wooden windows using traditional methods and materials. You will learn step-by-step techniques for safely removing old paint and putty, repairing damaged wood, glazing glass, and restoring smooth sash operation.
Lunch will be provided daily for all registered participants.
