Danger Cave is one of the most important archaeological sites in North America. It has a record of human use going back 12,000 years and has yielded important information about the lives of Indigenous people who made the Great Basin their home for thousands of years prior to the arrival of Europeans. You will be guided on the tour by a professional archaeologist, and you will have the opportunity to visit these sites which are not generally open to the public. The tour includes a visit to Danger Cave and nearby Juke Box Cave. Danger Cave State Monument was established in 2019 and Danger Cave is a National Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
You must provide your own transportation to and from the meet-up location.
