2026 Advanced Headstone Preservation Workshop
Amy Barry, Utah Cemetery Program Manager will lead a 3-day Advanced Headstone Preservation Workshop. Participants will work in the field and the office to get hands-on experience. In this workshop we will focus on:
- Fallen, leaning and sunken stones
- Resetting multi-piece headstones
- Mortar application (Jahn mortar)
- Other topics identified by attendee (must do this in the registration process for it to be considered)
Registration is required for all attendees. Workshop fee is $30 and will include a light lunch each day. Participants are responsible for their own lodging, transportation and other meals. The workshop will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.

Amy has led the Utah Cemetery Program since 2015 and has been conducting headstone preservation throughout Utah since 2019.
