UCSS MONTH IN REVIEW: NOVEMBER 2024

Howdy stewards! Did you see UCSS’ social media posts this month? If you missed them, no problem! Here’s an end-of-month wrap-up of our posts from November.

At the beginning of the month, we highlighted volunteer Matt Peterson with photos and a blog post:

Man in a hat stands before an ATV; text reads UCSS Steward Spotlight: Meet Matt Petersen!

Five people stand beside an off-road vehicle in a desert landscape under a clear blue sky.

We also introduced Marcos Van Dalen, who is doing research for the Buffalo Soldier Heritage Trail project:

Lastly, check out some videos about UCSS’ Book Club event in Moab, which was incredibly successful and super fun!

Here are a couple videos highlighting that event – both the Book Club as a whole, and some cool information from our partner Rob Sweeten, the Utah BLM Historic Trails Lead and administrator for the Old Spanish Trail. Keep an eye out for announcements of our next community read!

Note: to watch these small embedded videos more effectively, make them full-screen on your device.

Keep an eye out for more upcoming UCSS posts on our Instagram (@ut_shpo) and Facebook. Next up, we’ll have videos from the Ride Back in Time and a stewarding safety video from Regional Coordinator Mike Wingert (featuring rattlesnakes!)
