This year the conference will host two outdoor workshops. These hands-on workshops will teach you preservation skills you can use. Please indicate your preferred workshop on your conference registration.
WORKSHOPS
WOOD REPAIR
3:20p - 5:20p
This workshop will introduce the basic tenets of wood evaluation, maintenance, and repair. A discussion of wood principles will be followed by hands on demonstrations of dutchman and epoxy repairs.
HEADSTONE RESTORATION
3:20p - 4:50p
This headstone preservation workshop will cover the basics of how to properly treat historic headstones. We discuss types of stones you will encounter and the do's and don'ts to reduce possible damage to the stones.
